Two Sons draws on Jesus’ parable in Matthew 21:28-32, which confronts every heart: it is not enough simply to say the right things—we are called to repent, believe, and do the Father’s will. Yet this is also a message of grace: the one who has said “no” can still turn and receive pardon. In response, the song asks, “Who do you say I am" and proclaims Jesus as the Christ—the crucified and risen Lord—who calls us from hardened hearts into life in his name.
